Dynatek Dyna-S Ignition Kit | Single Fire | Black

The Dynatek Dyna-S Ignition Kit is complete kit with single fire with dual 5 Ohm coils. The mechanical advance unit must be purchased separately.

The distinction between Single and Dual Fire is as follows:

Dual Fire: This refers to the operation of the older, non-Twin Cam engines. There is only one coil used, and both spark plugs burn at the same time. The most basic system is this one. It's sometimes said that the 'wasted' spark represents horsepower robbing.

Single Fire: The factory 00-up Twin Cam engines operate in a single-fire mode. The only spark plug of the cylinder that is on the compression stroke will be the only one to light thanks to two independent coils. These engines are supposed to tremble less and have more power. The effects increase in intensity with greater RPM and hotter cams.
