High quality purified water, used for servicing conventional lead-acid batteries when the liquid level becomes low due to the natural evaporation process. Note: New conventional lead-acid batteries should only be activated by filling them with battery acid (a sulfuric acid / water mixture called an electrolyte). Demineralized water is only used to replace evaporated water. Regular tap water is not recommended.
